This market leading 1.8ml vial has the low residual volume of 8ul due to the center-draining effects of smooth walls (no ledges) and a conical bottom, which allows needles with bottom entry ports to recover the maximum amount during use. Bottom depths are designed and QC controlled for the most critical autosampler to prevent needles hitting the bottom of the vials. This product is manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 Certified facility. Vials and Inserts are made with first hydrolytic, Class A, Type-33 Clear, Borosilicate Glass. The insert has a 300ul total fill volume and a 3ul residual volume for many autosamplers and autosampler needles. The Write-On Patch and fill lines are ceramic and will resist smearing or scratching even when working with solvents. The AQ™ Brand Fused Inserts sit slightly above the top lip of the vial and this unique feature allows for a near perfect seal with the cap's septa. The bottom depth, heights and alignment are designed, and QC controlled for maximum recovery and needle safety. These inserts are not attached to the bottom of the vial and do not suffer from cracking at this fused point and prevents leaking which can be observed in competitive brands.

This narrow mouth, vial is manufactured with virgin, medical grade polymethylpentene which produces the visually clearest, translucent, built-in insert with a 300ul total fill capacity. Residual volume can be as low as 2ul depending on the autosampler and viscosity of samples used. Popular for samples that react with glass and often used in bio-analysis with aqueous samples. Reactivity is similar to polypropylene but is more expensive and chosen when seeing the sample in the vial is important.
